There is a quiet, almost unassuming, section of our website that is thunderous in the weight it carries towards to the success of the Festival of Small Halls.
Under the Supporters tab in the top menu, you’ll find logos for the many municipalities, businesses, tourism associations and halls, which pull together and help make the events memorable.
You’ll also notice provincial and federal logos. This spring, the Festival was fortunate to receive a Celebrate Ontario grant which helped us to expand our reach and get the word out about your sensational small halls and charming communities. Celebrate Ontario provides project-based programming and marketing funding to new or existing Ontario events to enhance programs, activities and services and support innovations that will lead to long-term improvements, sustainability and the attraction of additional tourists.
The logos on the Supporters page are just one way that we pay tribute to the organizations that believe in and get behind the special atmosphere created by the Ontario Festival of Small Halls.
Can you spot the logo for Beau’s hanging out in the mix? We’re so excited to be partnering with Beau’s All Natural Brewing this fall, with some of its superior refreshment available during Small Halls shows at select venues. If you haven’t yet checked out one of Beau’s amazing local brews, do your taste buds a favour. The brewery is located just down the road in Vankleek Hill and takes pride in creating unique, organic craft beer, conceived with honest consideration for the environment and local communities, and delivered with a sense of friendly relationship.
In other Festival news… the buzz is continuing surrounding our local openers and your community small halls! During the last two weeks, we have been featured in media across eastern Ontario from online news sites to radio, and from newspapers to newsletters. We feel fortunate to have garnered so much media attention across the region. We already know your small halls are note-worthy – we’re glad that others think so, too!
