Morton Community Hall is a quaint, busy hall tucked in the middle of the Frontenac Arch Biosphere, a UNESCO designated world biosphere reserve. The Morton Community Hall enjoys breathtaking surroundings, including Rock Dunder, a formation of pink granite whose summit offers a panoramic view of the Rideau Waterway. Inspired by its unique natural neighbours, the community of Morton is dedicated to offering an eco-friendly atmosphere. The Morton Community Hall is where community members meet for a post-hike coffee and chat at the Tuesday morning coffee shop called the Morton Mug. The hall’s large kitchen and historic wooden stage make it the perfect gathering place for Christmas parties (which Santa always attends) and local farm-to-fork feasts.
