Mike Plume to play Dacre; community events on the bill

Earlier this week we announced that the Mike Plume Band will play at the DACA Centre in Dacre on Saturday Sept. 22! Get ready for fun – this show is going to deliver. (Pssst… there may even be a dance floor set up at this one!)

We’re thrilled to have Mike Plume on the Small Halls schedule! He is a country roots rock singer-songwriter, Moncton-born and Edmonton-based, who has toured across Canada and the US more times than one could count.

Plume made his initial mark on Canada’s vast musical landscape in the 90s, routinely playing more than 200 shows a year for the better part of two decades. He has performed and toured with some of Canada’s most beloved bands including Blue Rodeo and Corb Lund. This is promising to be an amazing evening of Song and Dance, Man! Get your tickets here.

You’ll notice that there have been some other additions to our schedule page: community events. From markets to community suppers and even art shows, hall hosts are pulling out all the stops to ensure a memorable music experience this fall in conjunction with the Ontario Festival of Small Halls! Take a look and keep an eye on the page as more events get added in the next few weeks.

These community events are often the icing on the cake for Small Halls – they give an authentic rural experience and allow visitors to explore the community (…and the food is guaranteed to be delicious!).

A few more shows are nearing sell out status! The shows are just two months away; be sure to get your tickets soon.
