Excitement builds as Deck the Small Halls draws closer

David Myles in Balderson

Did you see our posters? We shared them online and they’ll soon be popping up around the communities which are hosting the Small Hall-iday shows.

Here’s a link to our Facebook page where you can see them all! Feel free to share the Small Hall-iday love.

Small Halls heads up: The Almonte Old Town Hall show featuring Royal Wood on Dec. 6 is almost sold out! We’re talking a handful of tickets left – get them while they’re hot! Click here for a ticketing link.

Have you heard the rave reviews about East Coast comedian, Jimmy the Janitor? He recently performed at the Halifax Comedy Festival and had the founder saying that he “swept the floor with laughter!” He’s the real deal, folks. Start your holidays on a positive note and check your troubles at the door! Find out more about this legendary comedian here and then laugh with him live at the DACA Community Centre in Dacre on Dec. 7 and at the Lombardy Agricultural Hall on Dec. 8!

Speaking of Lombardy, did you know that the Lombardy Agricultural Hall is a new venue for us? We bet you recognize the white building and all those bright orange roofs! They have become somewhat of a local landmark for area residents, as well as travelers on Hwy 15. See them in person on Saturday, Dec. 8 when Jimmy the Janitor makes the audience laugh until their sides ache, starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets here!

Other big news coming from Nova Scotia! Just last week, our musician for the Seeley’s Bay and Balderson hall-iday shows, David Myles, was awarded some big praise. Myles received the Recording of the Year honour for his album, Real Love, during Nova Scotia Music Week! Have a listen here and then book your tickets to see him in an intimate, small-town venue. It’s gonna be unforgettable.

We’re feeling the Small Halls love through community media this week! Big thanks to the small town papers, radio stations and blogs who continue to help get the word out about Small Halls. Look here for an article from The Perth Courier and take a peek here for a story by the Hometown News – and here for a news bite about out Winchester show!

Keep your ear to the ground next week as we’re rolling out radio campaigns in your communities. We can’t wait to Deck the Small Halls with you!
