Safe and savoury – The Chef’s Table is back!

A boat on the water, a band on the boat, a farm-to-table feast at an ideal waterside location: that’s what is on the menu for the re-imagined, multi-weekend edition of The Chef’s Table. Reconnect and savour a socially-distanced foodie experience!

The Ontario Festival of Small Halls is putting a new spin on its outdoor dinner series. Over three weekends in September, experience local-food inspired menus from renowned chefs on the terrace at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa.

The Chef’s Table will feature chefs Helena Loureiro (of Portus 360 and Helena Restaurant in Montreal), Kenton Leier (National Arts Centre), Pascal Ménard (Global Affairs Canada and Rideau Gate), Ian Bilodeau (Museum of History) and Sheila Flaherty (of sijjakkut in Iqaluit).

To sweeten the pot, lively musical performances by some of the region’s most celebrated artists including Dueling Pianos, Rebecca Noelle and HOROJO Trio, will take place from a floating stage on the historic Rideau Canal.
