Announcing artist and new venue for Lyndhurst!

What’s that saying – everything old is new again? Well, Lyndhurst Ontario is certainly steeped in history – home to the oldest three arch stone bridge in the province, as well as the site of the first iron smelter in Upper Canada.

In fact, even our new venue to announce in Lyndhurst has a long history in the village – St. Luke’s Anglican Church Hall! That’s right, the Small Halls performance set for Saturday, Sept. 29 2018 at 7:30 p.m. will now be taking place at the church hall which has a prominent place in the community as a hub of local activity.

With funds raised by local women at social events, materials hauled in by wagon or sleigh, and designs inspired by medieval Christian architecture, St. Luke’s Anglican Church was built in 1882. Its landmark hall was constructed to host concerts and dinners – perfect for that Small Halls vibe! These days, it’s bustling with activity from a children’s camp on the waterfront, as well as social and fundraising events, rummage sales and more.

Some of you may remember seeing Fortunate Ones with Small Halls at St. Luke’s Anglican Church Hall back in 2015. It was a great show and we’re looking forward to being in this historic venue again!

And now an additional drum roll, please… the artist gracing the stage that evening will be NQ Arbuckle!

Canadian alternative country band NQ Arbuckle has earned multiple JUNO nominations, considerable praise from critics and a legion of rabid fans. For more than a decade, NQ Arbuckle has consistently created impressive, treasured albums – and is known for memorable live shows!  This one is going to be a good time and in a new venue, to boot. Join us this fall in Lyndhurst! Find out more here.

We have just one more show to announce in Seeley’s Bay and we are working hard to get the details finalized. Stay tuned for that announcement coming soon!
